Remi Braden

Ms. Braden started her communications career as a television news producer in her hometown of New Orleans. She later produced in Houston, and eventually, in London, where she wrote business news segments for CNBC’s US bureau.

Ms. Braden and her family later relocated to Washington, DC, where she served as communications director for the congressman who represented New Orleans during and in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

From 2011-2014, Ms. Braden was communications director/media relations director and spokeswoman for the New Orleans Police Department. In this role, she was successful in developing a strategic communications plan that nearly doubled residents’ approval rating of their police department.

Most recently, Ms. Braden was a senior communications consultant for the Department of Homeland Security’s Office of Emergency Preparedness, the First Responder Network Authority, and the Federal Aviation Administration.
