Take part in the 4th annual Peace Rally DC and #Choose Lives Over Guns.

The Department of Forensic Sciences has partnered with Peace Rally DC, The Ayana J. McAllister Foundation, the Metropolitan Police Department, and WPGC to host the 4th Annual Peace Rally DC.

We will march from KIPP DC- 4801 Benning Road, SE to Boys and Girls Club-4103 Benning Road, NE at 11 am. The rally is from noon to 5 pm.

Confirmed Speakers: Dr. Jenifer Smith, Karen Wiggins, Chief Newsham, Karl Racine, and Deputy Mayor for Public Safety and Justice Kevin Donahue. Several youth and community members are scheduled to speak.

Day of activities: Conflict Resolution, boxing demonstration, advocacy workshops by The Educational Fund to Stop Gun Violence and more. Performances by EU featuring Sugar Bear, MPD Side by Side Band, The NE Performing Arts, AliReza and more!
