The DC Department of Forensic Sciences Latent Fingerprint Unit Manager, Angelic Rountree attended the European Division of the International Association for Identification (EUIAI) Conference

The DC Department of Forensic Sciences (DFS) Interim Director, Dr. Fransico J. Díaz, welcome five new members to the DFS Science Advisory Board.

DFS Public Health Lab scientists Ms. Kajal Patel and Dr. Pushker Raj’s published an article in the Journal of Virological Methods on the Automated molecular detection of West Nile Virus in mosquito pools using the Panther Fusion system.

Steven Qarmout, a fourth-year student now at Penn State University, is interning with the District of Columbia Department of Forensic Sciences, located in the Consolidated Forensic Laboratory.
