Anthony Crispino

Anthony Crispino

Mr. Crispino began his career with the District in 2004 as a prosecutor in the Criminal Division of the then newly formed Office of the Attorney General. In addition to litigating increasingly more complex cases, Mr. Crispino also mentored a team of younger attorneys in trial advocacy. Prior to joining DPW, Mr. Crispino served as the Attorney Advisor for the Homeland Security and Emergency Management Agency and a police officer in the Metropolitan Police Department’s Sixth District.

Prior to joining the Department of Forensic Sciences as Interim Director, Mr. Crispino served as the Chief Administrative Officer for the Department of Public Works. While at DPW, he was responsible for ensuring the agency’s administrative functions – communications, contracting, human resources, information technology, and performance management – fully support the Department’s solid waste, parking enforcement and fleet management administrations.

Mr. Crispino earned his undergraduate degree from James Madison University and his Juris Doctor from George Mason University School of Law.
